Alarm and central locking system help!

by buzzer » Fri Jan 09, 2015 12:43 am

Having now got the CSK back on the road, iam am trying to solve a problem of getting the Land Rover alarm to lock and unlock the car.
What works
The central locking works ok with the key in the drivers door only
The alarm system works, bleeps, even closes the windows

What doesn't work.
The alarm does not operate the flashers when it activates and de activates
The alarm system does not lock or unlock the car.

To add to the issues the wiring has been mucked around with and someone has removed the solenoid from the drivers door!

I have a Range Rover workshop manual but this does not cover the CSK alarm or the central locking system as this seems to be different to std RRC. Does anyone have any wiring diagrams or information on the central locking and alarm system on the CSK?

A few pics of the car as it was at the beginning of the year and now

cheers guys :), thanks for the comments. Pleased with how it worked out. As ever every job was twice as difficult as it should have been.
G, a question on fitting your after market alarm, how did you connect it into the central locking system, any information would be useful.
